Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles

Crispy, warmly spiced, and golden-hued waffles for the fall season! It’s fall and that means: cue the pumpkin recipes! Gotta get as much pumpkin spice in your mouth before everyone starts talking about Christmas, right? Celebrate the season with a favorite recipe for crispy, fluffy, Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles. This pumpkin waffles recipe uses just enough pumpkin to bring a light orange hue, but not so much that each bite is weighed down. These are spiced with the warming flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg. Add chopped pecans, pumpkin seeds, or other nuts to add a little crunch and warm maple syrup for the perfect finish.


  • 3 tablespoons The LifeBar Pumpkin Spice Keto Protein Powder

  • 1 egg + 1 egg white

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


  1. Heat waffle iron.

  2. Stir all ingredients together in a small bowl, until batter is free from most clumps. Add as much water as needed to get a waffle batter consistency. The batter should be pourable, but not super thin.

  3. Once waffle iron is heated, spray top and bottom of iron with non-stick cooking spray and pour the batter over the bottom of the iron.

  4. When the waffle iron goes off, transfer the waffle to a plate. Repeat until all of the batter is used.

  5. Top with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately or store in a covered container to reheat and enjoy later.
