The timeframe for order delivery is divided into two parts:

+ Processing time: Includes order verification, manufacturing, quality checking, and packaging. All orders are sent to our manufacturing facility for dispatch within 24 hours after your order is placed. All Smoothie kit orders will be scheduled for delivery Monday & Tuesday to make sure they arrive at your door in frozen quality. You will receive tracking information on your order once your order is shipped.

Pea Protein

Pea protein is exactly how it sounds, a protein made from peas. As pea protein is formed typically from a mechanical process, it retains soluble fibre making it excellent for digestion. More recently, pea protein has been used as a bulk powder or excellent substitute for meat protein for those looking to increase muscle mass.

Pea protein contains the essential amino acids and can also help convert fatty acids into energy as peas are high in lysine, the precursor to carnitine, which aids this process. The taste of pea protein is usually quite bland, which makes it perfect for letting other ingredients do the tasting.

Hemp Seeds & Hearts

Hemp seeds and hearts are a fantastic source of vegan protein. They are from the same species as cannabis (marijuana) but a different variety that has no psychoactive properties. Hemp seeds have a pleasantly mild, nutty flavor.

They're packed with over 20 amino acids and antioxidants and essential fatty acids that your body cannot produce on its own such as Omega 3 and 6, as well as containing Omega 9, GLA, and a long list of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin E, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc. The seeds are thought to aid with digestion, improve immune defense and reduce the effects of PMS and menopause.

Sacha Inchi

Sacha inchi is a Peruvian star-shaped fruit. It is also known as the Inca peanut or Sacha peanut. The seeds are high in fiber and rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids (three times the content over coconut oil), protein, and other substances such as vitamin E.

Often promoted as a "super seed", sacha inchi is said to offer wide-ranging and lost-lasting benefits. Some suggest that consuming sacha inchi can help reduce excess abdominal fat and promote weight loss, and it's a popular choice amongst vegetarians and vegans.

Reishi Adaptogen

The reishi mushroom has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine - the word "adaptogens" refers to non-toxic plants that are thought to help the body resist stressors of all kinds.

Among many different foods, reishi is one of the only known sources of ganodermic acids; these anti-inflammatories are considered to contribute to immunity control, disease resistance, and heart health. As you might expect, reishi has an earthy, woody tone. Is it any wonder this fungus is known as the "Mushroom of Immortality"?

He Shou Wu (Foti Root) Adaptogen

Also known as the elixir of life, He Shou Wu is a tuberous root and has long been revered for its restorative properties in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines. The root is linked to several health benefits, such as healthy aging, longevity, and virility. He Shou Wu has an earthy and woody tone.

Another resident of Peru, Maca is a plant closely related to the broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and kale families. The edible part of the plant is the highly nutritious root, which has a smooth caramel aroma. The root is rich in amino acids, phytonutrients, fatty acids, vitamin C, B1, B2, and Niacin.

Raw Cacao

Cacao is unprocessed chocolate, made by cold-pressing unroasted cocoa beans. Unlike regular chocolate, raw cacao is supercharged with iron, magnesium, and flavonoids and has the highest antioxidant content of a foodstuff known to man. The smell and taste is a deep, malty dark chocolate.

Coconut Oil & Milk

Coconut oil comes from the meat of matured coconuts harvested from the coconut palm tree. Coconut oil contains a high proportion of fat called Medium Chain Fatty Acids (MCFAs), most notably in the form of lauric acid. In the body, lauric acid is converted into a helpful compound called monolaurin, an antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial that destroys a wide variety of disease-causing bacteria.

Coconut milk is lactose-free, so it's often used as a milk substitute by those with lactose intolerance. It is a popular choice with vegans and makes a superb base for smoothies and milkshakes. The milk contains many micronutrients such as vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, and B6 and minerals, including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorous.

Monk Fruit Sweetener

Monk fruit is a small green melon native to southern China and named after the monks who first cultivated it centuries ago. Interestingly, monk fruit extract is 150-250 times sweeter than refined sugar, has zero calories and carbs, and does not raise blood glucose levels. Furthermore, the fruit is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may help prevent cancer and keep blood sugar levels stable. Monk fruit extract doesn't really have a taste (other than sweet).

Matcha Tea Powder

Matcha comes from the same plant as green tea, but it contains even more antioxidants and caffeine. The leaf is exceptionally high in antioxidants, which support liver and brain function. Furthermore, it contains catechin and is believed to have cancer-fighting properties.

With Matcha's taste, you'll notice vegetal notes and a pleasant, but not astringent bitterness, and a smooth sweetness

Vanilla Bean

Vanilla beans are long thin pods from a variety of orchid that's grown in tropical climates. The beans are popping with potassium and B Vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid and pyridoxine). These elements help enhance nervous system function, regulate heart rate and blood pressure levels, and are believed to help with weight loss by decreasing the body's appetite and increasing metabolism.

Not only a delicious spice, cinnamon also has powerful effects on health and metabolism. The tree bark is loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatories and can lower blood sugar levels by improving glucose uptake by your cells. Cinnamon's sweet and woody flavor packs a slightly spicy punch.

Almonds are seeds (actually not nuts!). These high fiber seeds are rich in nutrients that can help protect the heart and the brain, including unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols, magnesium, vitamin E, copper, and manganese. The taste is slightly bitter with a good helping of sweetness.

Ginger Root

A delicious spice and medical marvel, ginger is a tuberous root with many curative benefits. The active compound, gingerol is a known anti-inflammatory and is believed to explain why people with osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis experience reductions in their pain levels and improvements in their mobility when they consume ginger regularly. With a pungent aroma, the taste is peppery and slightly sweet.

Stevia Powder

Stevia is a plant from the chrysanthemum flower family. Stevia has been documented to have purposes as an antimicrobial, and anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory medicine. Current research is also evaluating the effect of chemicals in stevia on reducing blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
